22 week belly

So this is a picture my co-worker took of me today at work. The other day when I was on here I realized I had not posted a belly pic in awhile. So here you go...I am measuring at 34 cm from the top of my belly to my pelvis. The doc says this means I am measuring at what a single pregnancy would at 34 weeks...isn't that just grand? And in case you missed the title of this blog..22 WEEKS!

Our little amigos

I am 22 weeks today and just posted pictures of the kids from Thursday (12/3) when we went in for their ultrasound. They are doing great! They are on track for growth so we just have to make sure they stay that way. I have a few photos of them all together. There is one with all three of their heads in one photo. Then there is another of just the boys' heads. And one final one with Gideon's head and Asher's hand in the picture. As you can tell there are more pictures of Gideon than the other two...he seems to be the ham of the trio thus far. He likes the camera. In true girl form, Maria avoids it. She is too busy being rowdy during the ultrasound so the tech cannot measure her or take photos. I'm not sure where she gets her stubborn attitude from:) They are still kicking and rolling around like crazy in there. And sometimes it's great to feel and I love it...others are just uncomfortable. We are just 10 short weeks from 32 weeks which is our total safe zone...so they will be here before we know it! Our goal is to make it as long as we can past 32 weeks so they can gain weight. Keep your fingers crossed and send positive thoughts! Hope you enjoy!

Kicks!!!

So I had to share...we were just eating dinner and I kept feeling someone in there kicking me. As you read in the post before, Justin has not been able to feel it. It's as if they know it's his hand there instead of mine. So we were watching TV and continuing to eat dinner, and I just made Justin keep his hand there. I was trying to explain to him how it felt. Then I felt it from the inside and he felt it on the outside! It was really cool for him to finally be able to feel what I feel. And the look on his face was pretty priceless too. We're not sure who it might have been, but we're thinking it's one of the boys. Maria has given her fair share of kicks too, but more so from the boys (we think)...we will see where they are on Thursday to find out...until then.

21 weeks today

Well I'm 21 weeks today and am getting a little more uncomfortable as days pass. On Thanksgiving I think I might have had someone kick me a couple of times. I felt it twice, and they didn't let Justin feel at all. That has happened a few times. I think when I have to yell at him to come over there it scares them and they stop. We have the babies' room organized so far, until more stuff gets added into it...like them. But it's a good start. I have some more belly pictures and on Thursday we go to the doctor again...hopefully with more baby pictures. We are getting really excited for them to get here.
My doctor has put me on desk duty so no more going out into the field. It will be very interesting and I'm sure make the days longer as we wait for the babies to get here. I guess more time to think and figure out how this is all going to work:) Well I think that is it for now...I finally have a computer I don't want to throw against a wall so I will try to post more often!

19 weeks

Well we are 19 weeks today. For this week a lot has happened. We found out what we were having and are so excited! And from what we hear...everyone is excited also. We have our first crib put together in the baby room and the changing table! Now it's not completely empty, but when we put that crib together we realized how big they are going to be...so we just hope they all fit:) It is kind of crazy how it's all just beginning to come together. And this is just the beginning!
On another note...how momma is feeling: I have begun the rolling! I have to roll off the couch, roll off the bed, etc. I can't sit just straight up any more because I get a little popping in my tummy (which we have yet to determine if it's someone kicking me or not!) So rolling it is. Also, I can't sit or sleep as comfortably as I used to be able to because my stomach does not budge at all! As of right now...I'm really lucky because I am mostly just belly..but I'm sure it will get worse.
Well....Not much more to report.

Baby Belly Pics so far...

Here are some pictures of my baby belly so far. The first one is at 13 weeks, the second at 15 weeks, and the third at 17 weeks.

18 weeks!!! Baby C!

And last, but not least...Baby C is a girl! Justin and I were relieved to hear this and that our family will be balanced:) And of course...she's as cute as her brothers! In one of the pictures she is even giving you a thumbs up that they are all doing great! In the middle of the first group of pictures you can see she is lacking "boy parts" which for us confirms it enough. And at the bottom you can see her little hand. The other group of pictures are of Baby C and then one of all three of them. The two bottom pictures in this group are the same. In the top photo you can see where it is labeled as far as where each baby is.

18 Weeks!!! Baby B

It's Baby B...and B's a boy! Also equally adorable:) (The bottom of the picture of B's profile, his brother is showing you proudly he is a boy!) Don't mind him...the other picture is of Baby B showing you he's is also a boy...you can even see his bones in his legs!

18 weeks!! Baby A

This is Baby A! And it's a boy! Isn't he cute!

13 weeks 10/8/09

This ultrasound was planned:) This was the first time we found out an idea of what we "might" be having. We got pictures of everyone and then learned two of them may be boys...Baby A and Baby B. Baby C was not cooperating with the ultrasound tech so C was a mystery. We learned they were all doing really well and looked healthy...and momma was doing well too! The doctor told us we didn't need to come back for another 4 weeks...then we figured by the next ultrasound we would be able to find out what the babies were...so it was a long 4 weeks!

At 11 weeks...9/24/09

This ultrasound we kind of just got out of luck. We weren't supposed to have an ultrasound this day. We went in for our regular appointment and the nurse tried to pick up heartbeats and could only find one. She said this was nothing to be alarmed about because it was still really early...we were okay with this response. Two minutes later...nurse enters the room and says we need to go over to ultrasound. (insert panic) Come to find out...the doctor just wasn't okay with finding only one. So we got to see them again! Also we heard all of their heartbeats! Baby A's bpm was 166, Baby B bpm was 170, and Baby C bpm was 162.

At 9 weeks

This was 9/9/09...the day we found out we were having triplets. And this is them:
At the bottom of the ultrasound it tells you which baby you are looking at (A, B, or C). There is a picture where there are two together...the bottom one is B that the picture is referencing.

Going a little backwards

So I finally got to a computer that was not super slow to get this thing rolling! Sorry it took me so long. Obviously the dates on this are not going to match up, but I will try to label as well as I can...enjoy!

First cold

So this is the first blog, but I will try to back track a little in order to catch every one up. At this point I am going thru my first cold. A little bit of sinus stuff and a dry scratchy throat. Trying to nip it in the bud before it turns into strep! But as most of you know...I can't take anything for the symptoms that I know of because of the little ones. Hopefully we'll get thru this one fairly quickly and not have any others. I'm sure it is chalked up to the weather changing so drastically here in Indy. Will keep you posted!
