Somehow I manage to blog like crazy for a while and then a whole year goes by before I even notice I haven't. Well, let's get caught up, shall we? Since May 2011...we have: moved back to Oklahoma and are living in Stillwater. We bought a house here in March so we are here to stay for awhile!
Our little baby Oliver is no longer really a "little baby". He is 18 months as I write this and holy moly is growing up so fast! He started crawling at about 10 months, and 3 months later was walking. Once he had the fundamentals down of walking, he's been running ever since. He is now starting to talk and communicate with us, which has been awesome. He has many words in his vocabulary and also some signs from ASL. We started working on sign language more when he was about 9-10 months old and he signs regularly now when we can't quite understand what he is saying. It helps out a ton!
In April this year, Justin got a promotion with Arvest Bank and is now the manager of both locations in Stillwater. He loves his new job and is able to get our in the community a lot more.
In March, I started a local chapter for MOMS Club, a stay at home mom's support group, and I'm currently working on building up my membership. Also, this year we are the chairs for the March for Babies walk coming up this October. We are responsible for fundraising and organizing the event. It's been a lot of work, but very interesting and fun at the same time. I have never been involved in anything like this before, and it's a fun challenge.
Also in April this year, we found out our little family is going to be a little bit bigger. We are expecting another child in November this year, and it's a little boy! We are very excited about this and excited to see what kind of big brother Oliver is going to be. Our new little boy's name is still in the works, but we are coming pretty close to a final decision if we can nail down a middle name.
